Arenil

Arenil was an elven sorcerer that journeyed with the heroes for a time. While out at sea, they came upon a ship that had been attacked by demons. The crew was brutally slaughtered, except for a young female half-elf who had hidden during the attack. The heroes took her back to their own ship, where she quickly grew an attraction to Arenil, an attraction that seemed mutual. A few days later, however, she cornered him in his cabin. While a trio of demons appeared on deck to distract the others, she transformed into a succubus and drained his life force.

Though he was brought back to life when the heroes reached the elven homeland of Lorius, he had lost nearly all of his magical ability and elected to return to his family.
