Elishar is a presumed deity; unlike the others, there is no direct proof of his existence. His followers, though small in number, were demonstrably capable of drawing divine magic from someone or something, however. During the Deity War, though, their powers waned and eventually they found themselves unable to cast divine spells; as this process was similar to that of followers of other deities who had perished in the war, Elishar is now generally believed to have been an alias or avatar of one of the many gods that fell in battle.
