Shoth-Gorag is a creature from the Far Realm. It was summoned to Syra by Tephra to kill the Challengers of the Unspeakable so that she could retrieve the soul gems of Acererak from their corpses. However, Shoth-Gorag was itself slain by the Challengers; its body dissolved, leaving only its heart, from which it could regenerate in time.
