Heironeous was a major deity, and was the god of chivalry, justice, honor, war, daring, and valor. His symbol was a silver lightning bolt in a clenched fist. His mortal enemy was his evil half-brother, Hextor, whom he slew in honorable combat during the War of the Gods. Shortly after he dealt the killing blow, however, he was ambushed by Nerull, and in his weakened state after the battle was easily overcome and killed by the god of death.
