Editing Wilton Bree (section)

==History==

Wilton Bree was born in exile in the City State of [[Thess]] while his mother, Countess [[Honeysuckle Bree]] was hiding from agents and assassins of the Stormlord [[Lanak Iskarr]], ruler of [[Varen]].

	Wilton and his mother manage to stay hidden in Thess until 2952 when an agent of Lanak Iskarr accidentally discovered them while walking down the street.  The next three days, Honeysuckle, with Wilton in hand, lead an increasing number of Stormlord agents and assassins on a wild goose chase throughout the streets, alleyways and canals of Thess.  
	On the third day, after temporarily losing their pursuers, Honeysuckle contacted the Patriarch of the Church of Zilchus and made a proposal.  If the church takes in, raise and educates Wilton to become the next Duke of Nord, she will become their agent.  Knowing her capabilities, and given the chance of regaining their church lands and possessions in Nord, the Patriarch quickly accepted.  That night, Honeysuckle gave Wilton into the Patriarch’s care.  Then, rounding up all the agents that were after them, the Countess disappeared into the night; taking all the Varen agents with her.
	It would be years before Wilton sees his mother, again.
	Periodically moving Wilton, the church saw to his upbringing and education.  He was sent to the finest schools and universities, all under different assumed names.  And every once in a while, he was able to see his mother, for a day or two, but never in the same location.
	Under his assumed names, he has met with some of the most leading movers and shakers, thinkers and leaders and the occasional scoundrel on Syra.  


	In 2969, with the death of  Wilton’s father, [[Ferrel Bree]] and the murder of [[Lanak Iskarr]], Countess Honeysuckle Bree, with the aid of the Church of Zilchus and the Nord Underground, brings Wilton back to Nord.


	In 2970, Wilton Bree is crowned Duke of Bree.  There is wild celebration throughout Bree.
	Duke Wilton quickly makes trade agreements with Thess and the coastal Free Cities.  He also allows a number of churches, including the Church of Zilchus, to return to Nord and regain the lands taken by Varen.  With the influx of monies from the trade agreements, he creates the Army and Navy of Nord, the Nordic Arcane Circle, the Nordic Bank and the Nordic Merchant Navy.


	In 2973, Duke Wilton convenes a Synarchy ClanMeet where they write the [[Nordic Constitution]].


	In 2775, the Nord Constitution is made law.  


	In 2779, Wilton marries Zahara Diamantaire, daughter of the rich and powerful Diamantaire Cartel of Thess.  Zahara is not popular in the duchy, but her reputation improves with the birth of their first son, Corin in 2780.  She then quickly produces Juliana, Ned, Fenton and Thaisa.
