===After the Storm=== Before he died, Storm King Iskarr had made it known that Ferrel Bree, acting alongside the Black Wizard and Drake's Company, had attempted to assassinate him. When he and Stormdancer both vanished mysteriously later that day amid an attack by the Black Wizard, it seemingly confirmed his lies. And, with the time it took to travel to Belsimar and back, this story was now firmly believed by the populace of Varen; Drake's Company were now wanted for regicide, and could never again return. As Varen fractured into yet another succession crisis, the members of Drake's Company went their separate ways for the final time. Ru Bae Ya continued her life of adventure across the world. Qwynn Cupsigh continued writing books about her experiences, and their popularity ensured her a comfortable life. Sumac joined the dwarf Kazak in searching for the final elemental weapon, Tinderstrike; though they knew it must have passed through Lanak Iksarr's hands along with Windvane, they never found it. Sumac later received a message in his dreams from the angel he had summoned, directing him to donate a large sum to the nearest temple of Aegir in payment for his services, as well as serving Aegir's interests for a year under Jib's direction. Garland, inspired by the Estorian fashions they had seen in Inethar, took the name Pinksy Spearshakes and opened a tailoring shop in Silverstone specializing in exotic and unusual styles from distant lands. Honeysuckle Bree returned to Nord, which seceded once more amid the fallout of Storm King Iskarr's death, and oversaw her son's crowning as Grand Duke of Nord. Drake Roxley retired to a farm in the Free Cities, seeking a simpler life. A month after Windvanes destruction, a volcano erupted from the Shattered Sea at the site of the elemental cultists' activity. The eruption destroyed the ancient dwarven city of Belsimar that they were operating out of, and while all indications are that the portal to the elemental plane of fire still exists within its depths, it is now virtually impossible to reach. What role, if any, Tinderstrike played in the eruption is unknown.
