Copper dragons like dry, rocky areas. While their territory is not typically so hot that they encroach upon [[brass dragon|brass]] or [[blue dragon]]s (though it does happen), they often compete with [[red dragon]]s. They have a well-earned reputation as pranksters, riddlers, and jokers; they especially enjoy humor at others' expense, though they are rarely malicious about it. When they find a red or blue dragon in or near their territory, they typically try to annoy or embarrass them into leaving, using their acid breath only when combat is inevitable.
