'''Garin Sunflare''' is [[Leardon]]'s son with [[Gremaka]]. Leardon encouraged his son to go out adventuring, to see firsthand what life was like for the people of the world and help them. These encouragements led him to become a paladin of Evening Glory.

After Leardon became the ruler of [[Palmheart]], he told his son that the title of prince was meaningless if he did not earn it by rallying the people on his own merit. He is married to a [[half-elf]] cleric of Evening Glory named [[Esmerelda Sunflare|Esmerelda]].

In [[Calendar#Year 2970|2970]], he was crowned king when Leardon abdicated following Gremaka's death. Five years later, he underwent a ritual to transform him into a death knight.
