'''Ogrémoch''' is a primordial and lord of earth. Long ago, at the end of the [[History|Third Age]], Ogrémoch was imprisoned within the [[Plane of Earth]].

In [[Calendar#Year 2965|2965]], [[Marlos Urnrayle]], High Prophet of the [[Cult of the Black Earth]], opened a portal to the Plane of Earth in the caverns below [[Belsimar]] and used the magical war pick ''[[Ironfang]]'' to summon Ogrémoch into Syra. Soon after his arrival, Ogrémoch clashed with fellow primordial [[Olhydra]], who had also been summoned; the effects of their cataclysmic battle devastated the land above and resulted in the [[Shattering of Orodeth]]. Though the conflict ended in a stalemate, Ogrémoch withdrew back to the Plane of Earth to recover his strength and left his avatar behind. Shortly thereafter, [[Kazak's Follies]] and the [[Brightstone Heroes]] slew Marlos Urnrayle, destroyed the avatar, and closed the portal, imprisoning Ogrémoch once more.
