Orcsplitter was the greataxe of King Torvald Flameforge. Though unremarkable in appearance, its head is graven with the dwarven rune for "orc" with a slash through the markings; literally, the word "orc" split in two. Its enchantments make it particularly lethal when wielded against orcs, and it grants its wielder and their companions a magical resistance against fear. Orcsplitter possesses limited sentience; it desires to be wielded by a courageous, preferably dwarven, warrior in battle, preferably against orcs, and is imbued with the purpose of defending dwarves. Though it does not directly speak with its wielder, it can convey a sense of its emotions or, on rare occasions, telepathically recite ancient dwarven poetry or song. After the king was slain, Orcsplitter was buried with him. In 2965, the group that would become known as Kazak's Follies discovered the king's tomb and took both his bones and his axe for safekeeping. The dwarven gladiator Kazak Axehaft would wield Orcsplitter as they battled the elemental cults of the Black Earth and the Crushing Wave, and used it to slay High Prophet Marlos Urnrayle. Once the elemental threat had been ended, Kazak delivered Orcsplitter to the dwarves of Korthaz for reinternment alongside the remains of the king. The dwarves gave him the moniker of "Kazak Kingbearer" for his deeds.
