'''Ras Nsi''' is the leader of yuan-ti in the city of [[Omu]].

Once a wizard from [[Estorium]], Ras Nsi underwent a ritual to transform into a yuan-ti malison. He now leads the yuan-ti of Omu in their quest to summon the demon lord [[Sertrous]] into Syra; they believe that by doing so, they will bring about the end of the world. At some point he formed an alliance with [[Acererak]] to keep intruders out of the [[Tomb of the Nine Gods]]. In [[Calendar#Year 2968|2968]] Ras Nsi began suffering from the effects of the [[death curse]], having been raised from the dead at some point in the preceding decade.

By 2969 his deterioration had caused Nightmare Speaker [[Fenthaza]] to believe he needed to be removed from power. When the adventurers of the [[Sutler Expedition]] entered their lair, she offered them free passage throughout the city if they killed Ras Nsi. The next day they attacked him in his throne room, driving him to surrender after receiving multiple injuries. When they refused, he teleported into his private sanctum to recover. [[Wyncit Sutler]] followed and offered to let him live as ruler of Omu in exchange for swearing fealty to [[Leardon]], a deal which Ras Nsi ultimately accepted. When Wyncit mentioned their quest to stop the death curse, and their belief that its source was in the Tomb of the Nine Gods, Ras Nsi declared his alliance with Acererak to be at an end.
