'''Rhunad''' was a vrock summoned by the wizard [[Gulthias]] in [[Nightfang Spire]]. Gulthias promptly bound Rhunad in a magic circle, just in case he needed the vrock's services. Gulthias never did, and Rhunad sat alone for approximately three centuries before the [[Amethyst Guard]] infiltrated the spire. Rhunad begged for his freedom, promising to tell them all about Gulthias in exchange. When they broke the circle, Rhunad made good on his promise and even agreed to accompany them to ensure that Gulthias met "a bitter, painful, and above all quite final ending."

When they next encountered Gulthias's minions, however, Rhunad attacked them. [[Lizard]] and [[Callisto]] stabbed Rhunad for his treachery, and as he maniacally told them they were now marked, he plane shifted back to the [[Abysss]].
