*Widow Groat, who had tarnished gold coins covering her eyes and ants nesting in her skull.
*Peggy Deadbells, who wore a string of chattering children's teeth around her neck and thumped about on a heavy peg leg. When she laughed, yellow gas billowed out of her nose and ears.
*Baggy Nanna, who had a squirming leather sack sewn over her head. The sack contained a cockerel, a viper, and a terrier, which could emerge from the sack to speak for her.

Long a terror of the [[Feywild]], Acererak brought the Sewn Sisters into his service after discovering "a cast-off creation of the gods, dead and yet not." The Sewn Sisters were to nurse it within the [[Tomb of the Nine Gods]] and build a device to feed it. When the [[Sutler Expedition]] arrived in [[Omu]], they created a duplicate of [[Wyncit Sutler]], magically linked to the original, and tortured it for information about him. They appeared first to slay [[Brecca Greenstone]]'s summoned mount, [[Hadley]], and then later attacked when the expedition was poised to open the Skeleton Gate deep within the tomb. During the ensuing battle [[Lukanu]] beheaded Widow Groat and hacked Baggy Nanna to bits, while Brecca used her sword to smite Peggy Deadbells through the heart with divine radiance.
