Editing Shattering of Orodeth

The '''Shattering of Orodeth''' was a cataclysmic event in [[Calendar#Year 2965|2965]], in which a massive earthquake ripped apart the continent of [[Orodeth]]. The massive seismic event also set up devastating tidal waves throughout the greater region, causing further destruction.

The cause of the shattering was the emergence of the [[primordial]]s [[Olhydra]] and [[Ogremoch]] into Syra in the caverns beneath [[Belsimar]], and the subsequent clash between them. The land for many miles west of the [[Belsimar Strait]] cracked apart and collapsed, allowing the surrounding seas to flood in. Countless lives were lost, whole villages were obliterated, and with the destruction of [[Drakkengarde]] the [[Mercantile Alliance]]--and by extension, the nation of Orodeth--effectively ceased to exist. What was once the heart of Orodeth became known as the Shattered Sea.
