'''Matron Urlvrain''' was the leader of the [[drow]] city of [[Phaervorul]].

In 2959, a drow named [[Zirithian]] who had turned to [[Orcus]]'s service assaulted his former home with an army of undead. The undead slaughtered most of the city's population, and Matron Urlvrain barricaded herself and her followers in the Temple of [[Lolth]]. When the [[Challengers of the Unspeakable]] approached with Zirithian's head and offered an exchange of information, she feigned interest for a time before ordering her guards to kill them. The Challengers proved more capable though and Urlvrain was slain, her soul consumed by the sword [[Nightbringer]].
