'''Yandt''' is a gray slaad. Sent to the [[Material Plane]] by its death slaad master to sow chaos and destruction, it became imprisoned in the [[Tomb of the Nine Gods]]. Its control gem was subsequently located by [[Wyncit Sutler]] of the [[Sutler Expedition]], who took control of Yandt during their exploration of the tomb.

Yandt served Wyncit for the next few days, primarily aiding the Sutler Expedition in battle. During this time the slaad would threaten great violence against Wyncit, expressing a particular desire to eat Wyncit's heart and/or entrails. When the group discovered a fiery chamber with lava raining from the ceiling, Wyncit sent Yandt in to attempt to figure out the trap. Yandt was teleported first to a chamber with no air, and then to a chamber with sand falling from the ceiling. Wyncit followed closely behind, but while attempting to find an exit from the last room the weight of the sand caused the floor to drop open into a pair of giant stone rollers with interlocking teeth. While Wyncit managed to keep his footing on the narrow ledge along the walls, Yandt fell into the rollers and was ground to a pulp.
