She accompanied [[Garland's Garrotes]] on their mission to root out a massing of [[hill giant]]s, where she befriended and later Awakened a cave bear companion [[Sasha]]. Together they battled the frost giant and fire giant forces that allied with the hill giants, stopping a plot by the [[drow]] [[lich]] [[Eclavdra]] to plunge the region further into chaos.

			In [[Calendar#Year 2968\|2968]], Dawn Breeze and Sasha accompanied some of the Garrotes into the [[Tomb of Horrors]] to investigate the cause of the [[death curse]] that was preventing resurrection magic from working. During their exploration of the tomb she entered a hallway filled with poisonous gas; as an air genasi, she could hold her breath indefinitely. Unfortunately, she triggered a massive stone juggernaut to roll through the corridor and in a panic, shapeshifted into a bird to fly out--forgetting that she could not hold her breath in that form. She was quickly overcome by the gas and fell unconscious, whereupon she was crushed to death by the juggernaut. Her companions quickly retrieved her body and managed to raise her from the dead before her soul departed her body, and they went on to discover that the lich [[Acererak]] had returned and was, in some way, responsible for the death curse.

			Unfortunately, having been raised from the dead, she fell victim to the curse's other effect: like all those who had been raised in the past several years, her body began slowly rotting away. She died several months later, and her soul was consumed by Acererak's [[Soulmonger]].
