Doresain was a demigod exarch of Orcus, and king of the ghouls. He ruled the White Kingdom within the Abyss. He held a particular enmity for Yeenoghu, who once conquered the White Kingdom for a time until Orcus helped his exarch reclaim it, driving Yeenoghu back to the Seeping Wood.
In 2959, Doresain was slain by the half-orc Harthur, and his soul devoured by the sword Nightbringer. Harthur took his crown and claimed rulership over the White Kingdom.
