Oronnis the Magnificent was a human wizard living in Eastport. A master of his craft, he was able to charge charge high sums of money for his assistance by virtue of there being no other spellcasters as powerful as he for miles around. When the Amethyst Guard sought aid in closing a portal to the Nine Hells, he agreed to aid them in exchange for a large quantity of gold. When his spell was nearly complete, however, a pit fiend stepped through the gateway and devoured him.
