Shagambi is one of the Nine Gods worshiped by the people of Omu.

Shagambi and the rest of the Nine Gods came to Omu at some point after the city's fall. Though not truly deities, the people began worshiping them as such and constructed shrines for them throughout the city. The inscription above Shagambi's shrine read, "Shagambi teaches us to fight evil with honor." Shagambi's shrine was located in the southern part of the city, just atop the edge of the area that, by 2969, had collapsed into a lava-filled crater.

The Nine Gods were ultimately killed by Acererak, who imprisoned them within the Tomb of the Nine Gods.
