The Thundering Hall is a fortified monastery in Orodeth. After the founding of Orodeth, an order of knights dedicated to Heironeous reclaimed the ruins of an old temple of Moradin. From its foundations, they built a fortified monastery dedicated to the god of justice, honor, and war. For centuries, they have trained knights and paladins in the moral Rule of the Knights. Though the monastery was reconsecreated in Bahamut’s name after Heironeous’s demise, the paladins of the Thundering Hall remain as vigilant and determined as ever.
At any given time there are usually about a dozen fully-trained knights present, along with another dozen in training. The monastery is led by the most senior knight, currently a human woman of about sixty years named Ushien Stormbanner.
