Master Tlad Xolbrys was a drow mage. In the year 2960 he was exploring Omu, where Acererak trapped him in a Mirror of Life-Trapping. Ten years later he was freed by the Sutler Expedition, and he agreed to ally with them in order to escape the Tomb of the Nine Gods. The next day, after Master Xolbrys helped destroy a group of giant four-armed gargoyles, Mae Govannen cast gaseous form on the drow so he could escape through the cracks in the ceiling of the Tomb's upper floor.
