Waythe is a sentient greatsword carried by Karriss Kellson of Garland's Garrotes. The blade communicates telepathically, urging its wielder towards brave, courageous, and often foolhardy deeds of valor and glory in the service of slaying evildoers. Due to its long possession in the hands of an evil cloud giant, Waythe developed a particular hatred of all giantkind.
It was reclaimed from its giant wielder by Sergeant Karriss Kellson of Northeron, and subsequently used to slay the frost giant jarl threatening the city. It has since been relegated to a decoration on Kellson's wall, a fact which greatly annoys Waythe.
