Shin was an elven sorcerer that journeyed with the heroes for a time. While out at sea, they came upon a ship that had been attacked by demons. The crew was brutally slaughtered, except for a young female half-elf who had hidden during the attack. The heroes took her back to their own ship, where she quickly grew an attraction to Shin, an attraction that seemed mutual. A few days later, however, she cornered him in his cabin. While a trio of demons appeared on deck to distract the others, she transformed into a succubus and drained his life force.
