Blue dragons are a type of chromatic dragon. Their most distinguishing feature is the large horn on their snout.

Blue dragons prefer sandy areas, but are just at home anywhere that's hot and dry. They are extremely vain and highly territorial, using their lightning breath to zealously guard their territories against anything they view as competition - especially brass dragons, who have a similar predilection for hot, dry areas.
