The Company of the Yellow Banner was a group of adventurers. They were all killed in the Tomb of the Nine Gods in 2968.
Membership
- Lord Brixton - Male human fighter.
- Bravus Boulderhorn - Male dwarf cleric of Moradin.
- Devlin Bashir - Male wizard. Appeared to be a strange goat/human hybrid. The last surviving member of the company.
- Sephirius - Female dragonborn paladin of Bahamut.
- Seward - Male human ranger. Torn to pieces by tomb guardians.
History
It is unknown how the Company of the Yellow Banner had formed, but by 2968 they had embarked on a quest to save the Starfallen, an eladrin princess who died a thousand years prior. To accomplish this, they sought a gem known as the Eye of Zaltec. After determining that the gem was located in the lost city of Omu, they sailed to Palmheart and traveled through the jungles in search of the city. They were ultimately captured by the yuan-ti who claimed the city as their home; the yuan-ti leader, Ras Nsi, stripped them of their weapons and threw them into the Tomb of the Nine Gods on the orders of Acererak. Once trapped within, they were killed one by one until only Devlin remained.
In 2969, the Sutler Expedition discovered Devlin's body as well as the journal in which he had chronicled their exploits and subsequent demise.
