The Cult of the Spider is a group of individuals who seek to free Lolth and the drow from their eternal prison. Their existence first became shortly before the Deity War, but it is suspected that they were around long before that. After making a bid to shatter the gates, they went into hiding after their defeat and have been seen only sporadically since. It is believed that Theriana is the leader of the cult.
Most recently they were spotted in Omu, searching for the puzzle cubes needed to enter the Tomb of the Nine Gods.
