She is the mother of the current Duke of Nord, Duke Wilton Bree and widow to the former Duke, Ferrel Bree during the Varen occupation.
Duchess Bree was able to escape the occupation and elude the many assassinations attempts, against her and her son, ordered by Stormlord Lanak Iskarr.
During the long years of exile, and despite a sizable reward for her capture or death, Duchess Bree worked as an independent agent for a number of organizations, churches and nations.
