Stormdancer is a storm genasi and chief adviser to Stormlord Lanak of Varen. Years ago, when Lanak's ship was sunk in a storm on the Dragon Sea, Stormdancer rescued him from the wreckage and nursed him back to health. He eventually journeyed to Varen when Lanak returned to claim the throne, and has served loyally at his side ever since.
