Waedin was an aarakocra monk. A friend of Bran, the two grew up in the same village within the Elemental Plane of Air. One day they returned home to find their village mysteriously destroyed, and a planar rift that trapped them in the Material Plane. Waedin sought clues as to the disaster that had befallen their home, ultimately leading him to travel to Red Oak Village with Drake, Quinn, Bran, Ru Bae Ya, and Lafiel.

When the group infiltrated the lair of a necromancer, however, Waedin was slain in battle against his undead minions. Bran buried his body atop the Tornoth Peaks.
