Arino

Arino is a member of the City States of Cimmer and is called the City of Towers. Because of the natural boundaries of river and cliffs, Arino has no need of a city wall. At one point during the city’s history, the controlling families showed their wealth with outdoing themselves by building the highest towers. However, when several towers collapsed with fatalities, the city council put a height limit into law and the tower building stopped. Some of the towers still remain. The controlling families now compete by using their wealth by giving elaborate festivals.

The Great Canal connects Arino with the Elissan River that eventually makes its way down to Thess.
