Stormlord Darius Iskarr was the ruler of Varen from 2851 until his death in 2913. An intensely paranoid and isolationist man, his first action upon ascending to the throne was to build a wall between Varen and the Free Cities. He had one son, Toren, who died of an illness in 2890. Toren's eldest son, Rastin, succeeded Darius as king.
