The Outer Planes, sometimes known as Astral Dominions, are smaller planes floating within the Astral Sea. Unlike the Inner Planes, they do not border the Material Plane. While many of the Outer Planes are known, most magical scholars agree that there could potentially be countless others that have not yet been identified.

Examples of Outer Planes include Acheron, Mechanus, and the Nine Hells.
