White dragons are a type of chromatic dragon. They have sharp, beak-like snouts and a short crest on the back of their heads.

White dragons can be found in icy or snowy areas, often lairing in underground caverns where the sun cannot reach. The most animalistic of all dragons, white dragons are not particularly smart; their intelligence should not be underestimated, however, and many have died after foolishly believing them to be little more than mindless beasts. They pursue both food and wealth with the single-minded intensity of a dedicated hunter, and will only consume food that has been frozen - usually with their own frigid breath.
