In the fall of 2007, I was involved in a class project to create a mod for Unreal Tournament 2004. The mod we worked on was called High Noon. I was assigned to create first and second tier art assets for the Graveyard level. The level designer wanted light sources to place on the walls as well as on the ground to light dark corners. When faced with the problem of logical ground light sources in a graveyard, I killed two birds with one stone by creating a lantern that could be placed on the ground or hung from a post on the walls.
